Text Box:      I was born in Moscow, Russia.  12 years later, my family moved to Israel.  There we lived in Beer-Sheva for 12 years.  In 2004 I moved to Ames, Iowa, USA, to join my parents who lived here for 2 years in advance.
At the age of 8, I started playing classical guitar.  I continued my musical education throughout the years in Israel, and the one year my family spent in Germany.  In 1998 I graduated from the Beer-Sheva Conservatorium.  My guitar was made by my dad, only one of his many hobbies.
I attended a religious high school, Mekif Amit, Beer Sheva.  There, thanks to great efforts by my math teacher, I fell in love with Math!  After high school, I served for 2 years in the Israeli Air Force.  During these years I decided that I want to continue the study of math and computer science and make it my profession.
I have a wonderful family.  My father Dr.Arkady Ellern works at the Chemistry Department of Iowa State University. My mother Olga Ellern, is currently working at Pioneer Hi Bred, Des-Moines, Iowa.  My little brother Ilya Ellern, studies Mechanical Engineering at  Iowa State University. My husband, Alexander Kleiman graduated from Ben Gurion University, Department of Nuclear Engineering.  Currently he is working on his Masters Degree in Systems Engineering at ISU. On November 30th, 2005 a new member of our family appeared; my son Benjamin is the cutest little miracle in the world.
I adore reading: classics, detectives, modern fantasy, poetry, and adventure. I also like to travel, watch movies, listen to modern and classical music, and my collection of animals (toys, also part of the family).  I absolutely hate news on TV, newspapers, and commercials.
